Description:

The excursion begins in Kamari, it takes about 10 min. to reach the site. Ancient Thira is situated on a unique location at the top of Messa Vouno Mountain, which reaches a height of 356m.

The excavations uncovered the ruins of ancient buildings, sanctuaries & temples, inscriptions & carved stones of archaic period and also the ancient theatre situated in excellent location with panoramic view to the Aegean Sea.
